lease deal any good?
I found a dealer in NY who wanted to put me behind the wheel of a C250. It is Steel Grey metallic with black leather interior. It has the Premium and Multimedia packages.
Deal:
1. Give him my 2010 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L and skip last 2 payments of lease @ $275/month.
2. Put $3000 down & use Mercedes $500 bonus Certificate from NYC auto show.
3. Pay $309 a month for 27 months.
4. Return car at end of lease.
Is this deal good? Should I take it. I like the car a lot.
Mike
PS I'm comparing this car to Accord Coupe v6 EX-L and Infiniti G37 coupe. I would love the C350, but can't afford let alone find one.

That appears to be very low for a lease on a $43K car. Is the trade in value of the Accord substantially higher than the lease buy out? This deal appears to have about another $2-3K of capital reduction or cash in it.
Does your $309 payment cover taxes, title and registration fees? Almost to good to be true. I would think this is more in the $475 - $525 range. But don't have all the facts.

IMO a very bad deal.
Copied from my previous post in another thread:

My MSRP for 2013 C250 was around $47K.
Packages: P1, Multimedia, Sports Plus, Lane tracking, blind assist, no keyless entry or lighting package
Lease terms: 2 yrs, 12K miles per year
Monthly payment: $420 (maintenance included)
0 down, not a trade-in
Without maintenance: $409 /mo

the deal covers registration, title and tax. dealer has 2k incentive from MB. he priced it at dealer cost. i saw him enter numbers. he used 39k plus. im trying to find something wrong with the deal. checking out accord and infinity to see coupes with 6 cyl engines.
for comparison:
Honda accord Coupe v6 EX-L 3000 Down 350 a month for 36 months.
Infinity G37x coupe with premium package 3000 down 299 a month for 24 months.
what makes this a bad deal? i get out of lease 3 months early and drive a Mercedes for 33 months
