MERCEDES C250 DOWNPIPES - BEST DOWNPIPES AVAILABLE

We just received our first production run of the RADO downpipes for the C250 and we should have these available for shipment by next week. We have some testing to do and some before and after videos but we are super happy with the quality of these units.

These are direct bolt-on replacement off-road downpipes for the C250. These downpipes eliminate the factory catalytic converter so using one will trigger a check engine light because of the catalyst removal. These pipes are installed with simple hand tools and do not require any fabrication to install.

As you can see from the pictures these downpipes (along with all the products that we are manufacturing) are made to the highest standards in the industry. We pay attention to the details so that we can deliver a product that you will be proud to put on your car. Is there a way to bypass CEL?

We don't offer any way of bypassing it yet because we are still working on our tuning solutions. For tuning we are looking to offer something that is very different than what everyone currently offers or we won't offer tuning at all if we are going to sell what everyone else sells. For now we are selling the hard parts until we can come up with a solution that goes far beyond a basic box tune that most people are selling fro the Mercedes Benz.

We are looking into options but we are far away from having something available for sale that makes sense for us.

 

Do y'all plan on making any performance mods for the c350 owners of the world?

 

We are only working on the turbocharged vehicles at this time.

Can you make downpipe with high flow cat?because not good idea removing cats on new car.

We are not planning on making the downpipes with high-flow cats at this time.

 

so if I buy down decatted down pipe + mid pipe , after installation will there be any error lights ? you did not tell me what is the diameter of these pipes.

 

It's too bad that the down-pipe will cause a CEL. I am really picky with dash lights, but if you can prove solid gains, I may over look the CEL.

I will have sound and dyno for you sometime next week. As for the check engine light there is no solution that we provide with the down pipe. There are several different solutions that people have done to prevent the check engine light coming on but we sell this unit as an off-road pipe so we cannot provide you with one of those solutions.

You may want to talk to some of the tuners that are on MBWorld about shutting off the secondary o2's in the ECU or you may also want to talk to some of the shops that manufacture o2 bypass products.

We have to legally sell this unit as an off-road unit because it eliminates one of the factory emissions components in the vehicle, I am sure that you understand that. Vehicles that run at the racetrack (off-road vehicles) do not use factory emission components because these parts take away to much horsepower so racecars run without them. We are selling a part that is designed to maximize the horsepower of the engine but we are also designing the part to easily install with all of the factory components.

These are nicer looking than the downpipes for my E63.....Dayummmmm.

 

We put a lot of time into making these pipes correctly so the C250 guys are getting a really great product for the money.
