Screen Cluster Color
Good morning all, this is my first post on here.
But I dropped off my 2012 C300 for service yesturday and they gave me the 2013. I really enjoyed the black and grey screen vs the brown and tan that is on the 2012.
Is this a software change or is there more to it?
Either way I would like to know if there is a way to change the color scheme of the screen and gauges?
I attached the 2012 color scheme and the 2013 (not very good pics)

I'm not sure - I would ask them if it's a FW update. I personally am happy with the old '12 look....partially because I have the mocha interior and the interface goes perfectly with it (I didn't want the interior at first - but mine was the only '12 left in socal with the lighting package at a reasonable price_.

I don't think its can just upgrade, I have both version. The gold version is slow when scan channel in radio mode. Also no show number of song in usb mode.
I think they use hardware / software to upgrade. In my opinion. The new red version look better than gold version.

I had a 2013 loaner car and honestly didn't like the gray. Not so much the color, but the way the words and letters looked gave it an unfinished appearance. The beige in my 2012 looks more polished and cleaner overall. What would be really cool is if you had several different color sets to rotate through.
