Also, I don't know what I'am going to get yet. I really like the new headlight and taillight on the new model. And finally there is a turbocharged direct injection v6 for this car since I feel like the v6 right now is a little low on torque.

+ 1 Completely agree and one of the main reasons for also purchasing my car after the mid to end life updates since the C Coupe variant range is at the tail end of the 204 model series that's when they're at their best, same goes for most cars and true also about the new 205 model series coupe we won't see that until at least 2015 and more likely 2016 in most Countries.

Picked up my car this afternoon, and so far everything has been great.

I do have a few minor gripes about the car already, but nothing really major nor surprising; the worst one being how the seat belt is so far behind the seats that it's difficult for me to reach and extend it. anyone else fell the same way?

Do you guys think I should post pictures and talk about my new car in here or create a new thread?

And I'm curious if you guys are interested in knowing how my price negotiations went. It was pretty interesting. let me know!

Congrats on the new ride! I completely understand that you wanted a brand new car vs used! I love the options you have gotten in your car. I also see that you've picked it up already!!

My parents and I have known this salesman for a long time (he sold suits to my dad way back before he sold cars ) so he got us $$$ of MSRP. My parents and I were not expecting to get much off a brand new 2014 custom build car.

Our salesman came to us with a $1500 off MSRP right off the bat. We were complacent with that but I wanted to ask for 2 add-ons. I asked for:

all weather floor mats and illuminated door sills with free install.

10 minutes later the VP of sales came to talk to us. We did deal with him once 8 years ago on our last Benz. So he came in and said: You guys know you're asking for another $1100 on this car, right? I told him: I know you can make this deal work. I still remember 8 years ago when I was 10 years old sitting in your office promising you my first new car would be bought here with you.

After smooching him up, he told us he would take care of us. That's that. My door sills have been ordered and it's going to be installed in a matter of weeks.

Coupes will not be made the 1st year of the new mod. You will have to wait
til 2016's.
