My 2014 C350 Coupe order-sheet
Here's my order sheet for my 2014 c350 coupe. There's no pricing yet hence the fake ridiculous numbers. My build date is July 6th and it is expected to be delivered to me by first week of August.

Wow! You must have clicked the YOLO button on that one. Have you considered the final price might be close to a left over/CPO C63 Coupe?
Just a thought.

I've looked at CPOs/pre-owned C63s. i would only be able to afford a 2009 or 2010 model which still has the old spotlights instead of the LEDs. Other than that, I'm a college student who will be driving this car pretty much everywhere I go including 2.5 hour trips back home at least once a month. A C63 isn't a practical car for that. And last but not least, theres no better feeling than having a brand new car

avuong6494 could you please go over in detail how the dealer went over the build date and the delivery date with you.
I placed an order for a c350 coupe in March and I think I am getting the run around on the date of delivery. Thanks for any info

Since you are paying for SPC, did you consider the Dynamic Handling Package. Since you already are ordering the 18" AMG Wheels it is only another $500. This is the adjustable suspension and steering option that allows you to tighten the car up for spirited driving. I never drove one but every article I read said it is a major improvement if you want a true "sports sedan".

Congratulations and hope you a have a smooth wait and delivery
Nothing wrong with optinioning up as much as you can, IMHO with these vehicles there's a big difference owning and driving a basic spec compared to one with all the bells and whistles, it really makes it feel special

@riverside: Here's how it went down. I called my dealership and asked if I were to factory order a new C350 what year would it be. The rep told me that it would be 2014 and they weren't allowed to build any more 2013 models. A few days later I went to the dealership with my parents. We know a sales rep there and he helped us out. He showed my parents a 2013 c250 coupe (they are expanding with new construction so they didn't have any c350 coupes available to see). He pointed out the differences of them for my parents, and my parents approved. We went back into his office and waited while he made a call to someone. In that call he confirmed that the first build date is July 6th and the first batch will be coming in around first week of August and with that we built my car based on a 2013 model. He then went into the manager's office and input these options into the manager's computer hoping there would be a pricing for it. Sadly there wasn't yet. So as you can see I have the order sheet with no dollar amounts for anything. We gave him a $500 refundable check to get my car in the first build batch. And my sales rep. will call me ASAP when pricing is available so i can come in and seal the deal (he's supposed to call me tomorrow with an update).
@ralawren: I don't know what you mean by "SPC" but there is no dynamic handling package on a c350 coupe that I am aware of. I see on the last sentence you wrote a "sport sedan"....this is a coupe.
@AV1: Perfect philosophy. I personally rather drive a model/trim lower with all the add-ons than drive a high model with no options.

SPC is the code for special factory order options. I do not have a copy of the dealer order guide for the coupe but do see it as a special order item on Edmunds and have read several car magZine reviews that mention it. The option does not appear on the MBUSA site as an option but it does exist for th cope and sedan. That is for RWD not4 matic.

Why are you getting the full leather option for black? If you were ordering red I can understand that, otherwise the MB-tex is pretty good if you've ever seen it.
Ralawren is right, ask your dealer about the dynamic handling package. It does include different wheels though. It is only available on custom orders so it does not appear on the MBUSA website. Last years pricing was $1400 which includes speed sensitive steering, advanced agility package, and the 18inch AMG twin 5-spoke wheels.
The lane tracking package is a waste IMO unless you do long distance highway traveling, however I would get the blind spot assist option only because these cars have terrible blind spots.
Otherwise good options! I would also add the illuminated door sills because that's one of the things everyone loves when they get into my car

I will ask about that dynamic handling package. I also have to ask about the new drive-kit plus for the iphone.
The lane tracking package has the blindspot assist which is what I mainly want from the package.
Do you know how much the illuminated door sills are? And do they have to be installed at the factory during build?

The power and assisted seats are amazing and I love them however are not worth the $1750 IMO. A distinct interior with the power seats however... (a black and red interior look great on a black car).
The drive-kit plus I can't comment on because it wasn't available last year. My car is able to connect to facebook, yelp and the like through COMAND but it is totally worthless and I only used it once. It is much faster to check something or post on your own phone than to use the knob in the car.
Blindspot assist may or may not be available without the lane tracking package, check with your dealer.
The illuminated door sills this year are $700 and totally worth it. I would get it as a factory installed option (technically installed here at the VPC and not the factory) because the parts are similar in price and a PITA to install due to the wiring. Everyone loves them and they just look cool and classy. Another option is the AMG door pins for $40 or you can find them for slightly cheaper on ebay (a 30 second mod). The stock door pins are cheap molded plastic and look like crap. They just don't belong on the car.
The dynamic handling package is only going to be available through your dealer but may not give him/her too much of a description so just so you're aware the 18in AMG rims part of it are different than the 7spoke AMG ones you picked out.

I ordered my 2013 C350 Coupe in May 2012 on the first day to order MY2013. The car was built in Sept 2012 and delivered to me on Oct 31st. For me, it was worth the wait, knowing that the car was built to my spec. I had the illuminated door sills as well, just because it is a pain in the *** to install it later. You will be happy with your spec car.
I did too! However after finally deciding all the options I wanted order date ended up being end of June. Enough time to book a flight and plan out my trip. Car was built on Sept 21 and I was able to drive it on Sept 24. The worst wait was after getting to drive it and waiting for it to get back to the states. Almost a whole 2 months, just right after Thanksgiving

I am interested in getting the dynamic handling package but I believe that if you do want it, it would push back the date I would be able to get my car. I'll see though and I will update this post with my findings.

Is the dynamic Handling and the advanced agility control option the same feature with a different name? When you order Code (315) does that mean you automatically get them both because my order form does not say dynamic handling it keeps calling it advanced agility control, but when I googled dynamic handling and advanced agility they appear to be different features with some how the same code. I just ordered my car and would hate to wait on a vehicle that does not have dynamic handling and I waited all this time to not have it. I am asking before I call the dealer back ......... please help. Thank you very much

Correct. It will default to comfort mode every time you start the car. Sport gives it a little oomph, improved throttle response and higher RPM, and tighter suspension. My dealer drove my car just a couple of days ago for the first time and said it drives a lot better than a stock 350 and especially the 250. If you want a Mercedes it'll be a nice ride and you won't regret it

I really love the current model right now. And as it is one of the last production years the production quality is at it's best.
The new 2015 model is only the sedan model. Coupe probably doesn't come out until 2-3 years after that. And thru the pictures I'm not really liking the interior too much. (Navi iPad) and being its first production year at a brand new factory in America, there's bound to be defects and such.
