Need Help, please. Import address book from USB
Recent purchaser of 2012 C350 coupe.
I am pulling my hair out trying to get the COMAND system to import an address book (VCF file) from a USB stick --- and not my phone.
I don't like how the COMAND system imports everything from the phone - it contains hundreds of contacts that I will never call from the car.
I created an address book and exported to NEW clean completely erased USB stick. Stick the USB into the slot (don't you love how it's in the center console tray!), COMAND sees the USB stick but then it says it cannot import files.
Repeating - I don't want the import from my phone; I wish the import to be from the very limited address book/VCF file on the memory stick.
For those who have had success - how'd you do it?
