To achieve a nice fit with zero probs ET or offset of 35 is no good for our cars, the wheels will stick or poke out the guards for comparison the ET on all OEM wheels for our cars are 50 and above, going down to 45 still works well.
It all depends on the end result you specifically want, some people like that set up of a widened wheel base and do go for low offsets.
