CF Mirror Cover thoughts...

CF Mirror Cover thoughts...
All -
After looking around this forum (and a few others, but this is the best one out there!) and talking to a few people, I bought some CF mirror covers for my C3504matic (Silver, black). I've attached a few pictures of me holding them in place and I'm curious for some comments. Basically, I hate how they look - they don't cover the whole mirror assembly and being a silver car w/ silver mirror housings I think it looks a bit silly. What do you guys think?
For $100 I expected a bit better and the seller (same one pointed out here) is a pain in the *** to deal with. Second, all in, does anyone have any ideas about how much it would cost to do a proper job w/ CF housings? Being in the US I can't seem to easily get the folding mirrors (which really has irritated me - I've had a series of 3 series coupes before this and they all had them.
This is my first mod and I want it to be awesome...

PS - I'm 90% sure I'll just sell these - PM me if interested (3m tape included). Happy to send more pictures to ensure quality, etc.

Get your mirrors painted black or buy the mirror housing in black and then put them on. That is essentially what they are like on the AMGs with it from the factory.
I just put them straight on. It has a bit of a gap, but honestly it doesn't bother me. You only see it from really odd angles. You mostly look at the car from the front in which case you can hardly tell or the side in which case you can't see it
