So who else has the Burger Tuning intake and tuner installed?
I just ordered the intake and tuner from
http://burgertuning.com/mercedes_benz_products.html
for my 2014 C250 sport - anyone else running it?
Tips, tricks, info I need to know?
Thanks in advance!

You will definitely see a big difference in performance. I recommend using some large diameter shrink tubing or electrical tape to cover the one plug that does not have a retaining clip.

So you have it and think it performs as advertised - no ill effects?
Do you also have the intake?
Tracking says it should be at my door soon - should have it installed over the weekend!

Put some foam or felt down on the metal edge under the intake because it rubs and can wear a hole into the filter surface. Also, don't turn up the tuner too high or your car will go into limp mode. If it does just restart the engine.
I see good performance with my car having both installed. Satisfied with making the purchase. I've had it installed for a year now and haven't seen any negative effects.

I think there must be a notable difference between the 2012 and 2014 ECU programming - my car doesn't like the tuner but I'm working on it...time will tell.
Thanks for the tip on the air filter - I ran my hand under it and didn't feel any sharp edges but I'll take the cone off and have a look anyway.

If you do more research on the forum, you'll see that the majority of us had problems with the intake because after a while, there will be a punctured hole on the air filter. Simple fix is to get the K&N filter.
Otherwise, intake is good to go.

If installed properly- there will not be a rubbing issue. I had issues with my BMS JB+ and have questioned them on two occasions. They said the Sport PLUS package would not make a difference, but I don't understand this since it includes:
1. Sports exhaust system
2. Engine management with more responsive accelerator mapping
3. More sporty transmission configuration in S and M mode, with shorter shift times, double-declutch function and active downshift when braking.
They told me to send it in for evaluation.
