C250 2013 Rear LED Reverse Lights

C250 2013 Rear LED Reverse Lights
Hello!
It's my first post and I wanted to say a massive hi to everyone
I am a proud owner of a c250 coupe. First Mercedes I have owned and absolutely love it
Already done a few things to the car such as interior led upgrades as well as debadging the Cdi
One thing I did want to ask, is can anyone recommend any working led reverse lights which will work with no error message on the w204 facelift (2013)?
I have searched around the forum and could not find much confirmation on the facelift w204 and led reverse lights
I believe they are BA15s but I want to make sure I get the best ones - And I assume they need to canbus ready?
If anyone cal also advise if there are any brake light bulbs I can also change ? If so , can anyone post any links ?

Hi
As I am in the UK are you able to recommended any I can buy either via eBay or any other route?
I purchased some off eBay and one side didn't work and the side that did work look like they melted the LED
Help!

..............don't really use reverse too often (but noting the upward spiraling of driver inattention, I can certainly agree that any visibility increase would heighten our accident prevention quotient).
The C250 coupe is a beautiful car. I still feel guilty driving it (actually my girlfriend uses it more than I).

Yes, the increased brightness should better grab attention of fellow motorists and pedestrians as to your reversal intent, so there is a definite safety benefit. And it's not just inattentiveness, but also distracted drivers as people are scouring the area for parking spots, sometimes looking at the next lane over instead of making sure it's safe to proceed down their own lane. Another benefit some have commented to me is that if you back into a space with a wall behind you, the brighter reverse lights cast better illumination for your rear viewing mirrors.

I had a few moments after work today before the deluge (50 mph winds and sideways rain) and installed those lights. They look great but appear to be a little loose in the socket. Is that normal?

Looks great. If you look at the socket when empty, there's a flex plate on the bottom. Flex it upwards to tighten the connection.
