front tire size
hi,
please help me with this issue:
i have this c204, c220cdi, 2014
recently i bought a set of AMG rims, the CLA model (2 mm "outside" as ET), all of them 8J.
i tried to run with 245/40-18 tires, all around but the front was "touching" the shock absorber's flange.
the factory says that i should run with 225/40-18 on front and 255/35-18 on rear.
for me, the 225/40-18 size all around seems too small so i have 2 questions:
1. can i run 235/40-18 all around without any problem (this is the standard tire size for theese rims)?
2. if not, can i run with 255/35 on the 8J rim for the back?

mercedes c250, 08 vette blown with meth (680 rwhp)
put a set of hub centric 10 mm wheel spacers on and run the stock size tires. The off set on the new wheels might be different than your stock wheels
