2012 C250 coupe Slow starts and white/blue smoke

I have a 2012 C250 coupe. It has 83k miles. currently it is struggling to start. Kind of sluggish but does run. I do here some clatter when starting but was told its because the oil has not made it up from the pan yet.
Not always but from time to time a cloud of white/blueish smoke does come out when starting. this is the only time I see it. it does not smoke when driving and once started the car does not have any engine lights nor does it seem to have any misses or other issues.
any thoughts or advice (other thank selling the car) would be great.

Same thing happens with mine, every other day when starting the car in the morning. Service advisor told me it's normal. I've learned to live with it but it's still kinda embarrassing.

Usually if it's white smoke, it's a form of coolant burning.
If blue, well obviously that is oil.
If coolant is making it past the Head gasket that can cause this. Piston rings, block or valve seals are wearing the oil will burn as well.
But before you panic, I would make sure the pcv valve isn't clogged closed. That would definitely cause smoke from the exhaust.

I find it belches the smoke if the previous "start" was for only a minute or so, like driving home and shutting it off in the driveway, then a couple hours later, starting it and driving into the garage for the night, ....... next morning ...... SMOKE!
