Please help me understand suspension height
I'm brand new to this forum and I'm hoping to learn from you guys and would be really appreciative if you could offer some advice to my question below.
I apologise if this has been written before but I've read a lot on this forum and am getting a bit confused. Can you tell me how to clarify the difference between standard suspension height and "lowered sports suspension" on a C180 coupe?
I've got a 2014 c180 C204 with 18" wheels. In Australia where I'm from I understand one of the differences between a C180 coupe and a C250/C350 is that the later two come with "lowered sports suspension". How can I determine what the difference in height is between these suspensions?
I understand if I wanted to lower my c180 there are H&R or Eibach kits that will allow this. I am just trying to understand which spring heights to buy and whether replacing them is a viable option? Are there any downsides to lowering this?
I'd be very appreciative of you advice.
Thanks for reading
