Fair price for a leftover new C204?

There's a 2015 C204 C350 4Matic sitting at a local dealership. I'm very interested. The MSRP on the car is about $54,000. I usually lease my vehicles so I'm a little out of my element financing. You cannot lease a 2015 vehicle. What's a fair discount off the car? I just leased a 2016 C300 4Matic that was $54,000 for 16% off. Any help is appreciated.

How much do I put down? What do I pay attention to? First time financing, so I'm not entirely sure what to look for or what to do.

2015 C350 Sport
@ 54k, you would probably lose about 10k driving it off the lot. Look at low mileage used 2015 C350 models in your area for a better average price. Remember it's 2+ years old.

Financing would probably hit you with a large down payment unless you have an 800+ credit score due to it's value. I think banks would value the car as a used, low milage car, BUT would finance it with a new car rate.

Could be wrong.........

2015 C250 Coupe
I bought a 2015 C250 Coupe last October. MSRP was over $40k and I got it for
$31,700. Get the prepaid Maintenance if you can but I wouldn't add it to your car loan.

For a 2015 that dealership has had it for a long time and is paying interest on their loan the longer it sits and it still further devalues. If MSRP is $54k for that thing I wouldn't think about paying more than $45k. They want to get rid of the car so they can stock more new ones so you have all the leverage in negotiations, remember that. This is especially true if it has less than 100 miles which would mean it hasn't been test driven a lot so there hasn't been much interest in it over the last 2 years. That's even more leverage.

Mine has run smooth and I've only had one problem with a speaker going out but it was covered under warranty and replaced free of charge. One thing to note though is if you do buy the car take a day to go over literally every square inch of the thing to look for interior damage or any parts that may have been scuffed in the 2 years since it was produced because in the first 3 days you can take it back and have them replaced for free.

I think it's a great way to pick up a great car at a discounted price. Make the dealership pay the cost of devaluation so by the time you drive it off the lot it's worth what you owe.

Mercedes C250 Coupe
That is the best C250 coupe deal this sailor can recall.

I paid $29,750 Summer of 2014 for my two year old coupe (odometer at 21,104)

I did get the first two payments and first two service appointments comped.

But 31.7 for a brand new MB C250 is one hellacious deal!

I'm impressed. ez sends

2015 C250 Coupe
And they had it listed at 32.9k. So even if they are marked down they will still come down in price. I couldn't find a better deal anywhere. Not even close
