Fair price for a leftover new C204?
Financing would probably hit you with a large down payment unless you have an 800+ credit score due to it's value. I think banks would value the car as a used, low milage car, BUT would finance it with a new car rate.
Could be wrong.........
$31,700. Get the prepaid Maintenance if you can but I wouldn't add it to your car loan.
For a 2015 that dealership has had it for a long time and is paying interest on their loan the longer it sits and it still further devalues. If MSRP is $54k for that thing I wouldn't think about paying more than $45k. They want to get rid of the car so they can stock more new ones so you have all the leverage in negotiations, remember that. This is especially true if it has less than 100 miles which would mean it hasn't been test driven a lot so there hasn't been much interest in it over the last 2 years. That's even more leverage.
Mine has run smooth and I've only had one problem with a speaker going out but it was covered under warranty and replaced free of charge. One thing to note though is if you do buy the car take a day to go over literally every square inch of the thing to look for interior damage or any parts that may have been scuffed in the 2 years since it was produced because in the first 3 days you can take it back and have them replaced for free.
I think it's a great way to pick up a great car at a discounted price. Make the dealership pay the cost of devaluation so by the time you drive it off the lot it's worth what you owe.
I paid $29,750 Summer of 2014 for my two year old coupe (odometer at 21,104)
I did get the first two payments and first two service appointments comped.
But 31.7 for a brand new MB C250 is one hellacious deal!
I'm impressed. ez sends
