Tuning 2014 c250
Hey guys I recently purchased a 2014 c250 coupe and was wondering what kind of tuning options I have in the state of California. Or should I just leave the car the way it is? 🙃 I want to have a dual exhaust if possible.

Congratulations!! We live in the great state of idiot law makers and worst of all the California Air Resource Board (CARB.) Yes the same morons who brought us the vapor recovery gas can, or as I like to call it "The Spill O-Matic 5000."
The CARB isn't going to let you have any fun. Most large Tuning companies have disclaimers a mile long against selling products in California. (... for off road use only, for competition use only etc etc.) Below are a couple disclaimers- and before those disclaimers here is mine, I have no financial interest in any of the companies below;

Of course with some chip options is a simple plug and play (drive). When it's time for emissions check you remove the chip and put the original one in and the smog check guy will never know the difference. I'm not too sure about that method, but I hear that is how some of the chips work.
