Panoramic roof
Is there a way, possibly in coding, to be able to put the panoramic roof up without having the mesh sun screen retracted? Sometimes I'd like to put the roof up and have the sun protection of the mesh. I see in the OM, the screen must be retracted to use the roof in any way.
thanks!

I've also thought that would be a nice feature but I bet the engineers at Mercedes had a good reason
I suspect at freeway speeds a vacuum would be created with the open sunroof causing the mesh to be bowed/pulled upward potentially damaging it. If the mesh tore (or broke) the pieces/fragments could injure the passengers and or driver.
Just my 2 cents

Today I took my car out on the freeway at 85 mph and opened up the sun roof. I think if the current mesh cover was closed with the open sunroof, it would be damaged/ripped/torn within the year. Yes Mercedes could easily design a more robust cover to replace the mesh we have now, but the current one would get torn up quickly I bet.
I've seen your wife's design, hard panel like cover with plastic Louvers built in. That would work well, but cut down on the panoramic sunroof we have now.
