Mercedes C250 Coupe
rear (between seats) 12v power outlet

My favorite uncle is coming for Christmas. He is a health/fitness devotee (doesn't look or act his age). Unfortunately, he is a cigar dude (I don't believe he inhales).

I am going to ask that he not smoke in my car (he loves to show his dexterity/flexibiliy by riding in the rear seat of my coupe). Can I disable the rear 12v/lighter?

(If I just pull the unit from the socket, he'll question me/give me mega grief - - - - - he is both bright AND verbal).

Help!

Just remove the fuse for the rear cigarette lighter. I think the fuse for the rear 12v is in the back of the car in the trunk or maybe in the cabin.

remove it and say it is lost - he will just dig his cigar lighter out of his pocket instead.....any 'cigar dude' usually carries a decent lighter.....I know I do!
