Lumbar support 4 way switch
Hi, new to MBworld but it looks like you have a lot of knowledgeable correspondents so thought Id check this issue here.
I have just bought a 2nd hand 2012 C250 coupe and its Great! but I detected an anomaly that worries me re the lumbar switches on Both seats.
These are the round 4 way switches on the outside bottom sides of the seats.
The up/down/forward buttons appear to work and make a whining noise when doing so. I guess theres a motor driven pump for the inflation and likewise for moving up and down.
BUT, the back button (for deflation) makes no noise and I cant detect any change in the support. (but I havnt done much pressing really as Im scared to inflate too far and not be able to deflate!)
If it was only the one seat then I would think it was broken but with both seats the same Im maybe thinking it is operating as designed and Im being a bit OCD about it?
My question is.. SHOULD it make a noise when deflating?
ps: I do have a 1 year warranty just in case.
