I have the view/graphic with the lanes and the car on the dash, but no distance setting on the cruise control stalk.
what is that graphic for then?

I have the same option and even the mercedes dealer said I have distronic but they also said I dont have the sensors around the car which would cost a decent amount.

I drive with that graphic on sometimes and I only once have seen a vehicle icon in top of screen
why is this there? How does it work?

Collision prevention/lane assist. The lines are for lane assist for sure. They will turn green when it knows you're in the lane and can see the lines. That's a regular cruise control stalk, all cars have that.

I guess it’s good that I have never seen that in action. Our 204’s won’t brake for us, will it? It only gives audible warning right?
