2014 C250 Coupe
Cool Newbie!

Hi everyone!
I bought a pre-owned 2014 C250 Coupe a few months ago as a second car, I so far love the car! It's a 2014 coupe in dark grey with black interior and read seat belts, it has sport plus package (I think that's what it's called?) I have Nav, and Harmon Kardon. I bought it was only 41K miles on it, and got a steal of a deal, I think, at 16K.
I plan on keeping the car for a while, as I so far am really enjoying it when I take it out.

I do have a slight issue though, I searched and couldn't find any answers. I couple weeks ago I realized that, somehow, someone broke the handle that is used to pull the passenger side seat forwards to let passengers into the back. I'm not sure what happened and I unfortunately cannot find the culprit. The handle snapped off it appears. Does anyone know if this is something my dealer can fix, or does anyone in the South Florida- Boca Raton area know of anyone that can fix it for me? I've attached a pic below

Exploded view of 2013 Coupe seat.

I’ve attached a photo of a passenger seat (non power). The smaller silver lever on top is used for the headrest, absent in power seats. I’m assuming your broken part is the larger silver lever on bottom.

The first step is to see a parts diagram and identify the correct part number. I think #5 from the exploded diagram is the part you need. I’ll try and track down that part number later today.

Hopefully the exploded view may give you insight how to disassemble and repair. I bet it is something a DIYer could do.

Nice ride.
These would look great on your car with chrome amber bulbs.

Thanks so much RNajarian! Yes its the larger bottom part that is broken, that diagram definitely helps, although I have no handyman skills what so ever.. as well as little patience LOL but it's worth a shot to try and do it myself.

If I'm unable to do it myself, any DIYer in SoFlo want to help me out and I can throw you some cash?

2014 C250 Coupe
UPDATE: I just found part #5, which is indeed the part I do need. I found it for $50 on Ebay being sold from a South Florida MD dealership- Mercedes of Coral Gables.
I think I'll jump on that, I doubt I'd find anything cheaper.

Good job finding the part. I tried looking earlier this morning on eBay and I could not find it so you get the Indiana Jones award for getting the lost treasure.

The only advice I would have is just make sure you get the part for the correct side (since they are not interchangeable) and if you can get the part for the power seat (I am assuming your driver seat is power with a power headrest). Though if you get the part that has the headrest adjustment I guess it’s not a big deal you simply won’t need to connect it.

I would also recommend you keep searching to see how the seat comes apart because you never know you might find it is as simple as removing four screws and have immediate access to the broken part. No doubt saving a lot of time and money at a repair shop.

Keep us apprised of how well the repair goes.

Attached are two photos I borrowed from an eBay listing. They are from a 2012-2015 w204 C250 Coupe front right seat back.
As you can see there are two screws then the seat back slides down.
This might be an easy DIY
