So I got the P0340 trouble code and the car started sounding like a diesel when starting up. Everything else ran fine after. I came on this board and thought I'd be replacing the cam adjuster sprockets and timing chain at a minimum. I opened up the hood and discovered this hose or pipe broken/missing.
1) Could someone identify this for me please?
2) Could this be causing the P0340 code and issues?
