Hi guys,

new here so apologies if I get anything wrong.

have a c250 cdi and lately its playing up, it will drive fine then all of a sudden there’s a little blip of revs and as soon as you accelerate it won’t allow the revs to exceed 2500rpm.
Sometimes the engine management light appears other times it won’t.
when you take your foot off the accelerator the revs drop straight to below 1000rpm.

had this issue for a day or 2 about 3 months ago then it disappeared and it reared its head again 7 days ago.

any ideas what this could be?

will be going to the garage this week but just seeing if anyone has had the same problem?
