Gas odor inside car after fueling

Right side

Left side


Removed rear seat bottom and access panels. The right side was dry, and the left side had fuel pooling on top of unit and gas tank. Ordered new seals and new filter unit. Seems to be a common issues on higher mileage MBs not just C Class

Was gonna tell you to pull the seat and check but you already did. Very common failure on older cars now, luckily doesn't require tank removal, not bad to change.
