2012 c350 coupe
I’m considering purchasing a 2012 C350 coupe with 97k miles. Are there any common issues with this model I should be looking for? Not new to MB cars and do all of my own work. Would be very interested in any known weaknesses of this model
thanx for any responses.

Mercedes Benz C204 1.8L C250
As far as I am aware the C350 is still prone to the same timing chain issues that the 4 pot’s are. My specialist advised me not to move up to a C350 petrol. The diesels are usually bulletproof, but the C350 saloon diesel I had broke before I took it home with Mercedes Brooklands telling me that the engine block had split for some reason.

I bought a CPO 2015 C350 coupe in December of 2020. It had 18K on the odometer. Other than it needing a new gasket for the timing chain cover with the 30K service, it's worked flawlessly. Granted its only at 40K. My concern was that if it needed a new gasket so early, what else should I expect to happen. My service advisor told me that due to age and lack of use, the gasket, which is a consumable, won't last forever. Now that it gets regular use, I should be fine.
I'm definitely enjoying the gain in HP over the 250 coupe I traded to get the 350.
