2012 C350 coupe
Oh man. So many issues but resolved them.
I own a 2012 C350.
Yesterday, entered my car and :
- Key FOB doesn’t work
- Adaptive highbeam assist inoperative message
- Lights dont work
- Flashers dont work
- Air bag Front right malfunction message
- No temperature reading
- Seat controls dont work
- Cant open/close window
- Car starts once. To restart i have to unplug the battery, wait 30 minutes and restart it.
- Door locks dont work
- Reading lights dont work
- Radio/heather, navi, AC … dont work
Indirect Cause for all these issues: windshield
After a huge rainfall during the night, there was a water infiltration via the windshield on the passenger side. Using a glass and shopvac, i removed as much water as i could. More than a bucket’s worth. Luckily the car was parked downhill so the water ended up in the front part of the passenger floor. I pulled back the part of the carpet floor panel located under the glove compartment and that’s where i inserted my shopvac nozzle to remove most of the accumulated water.
the are multiple electric/electronic circuits under the floor so i guess these don’t like being submerged in water ;-)
all seems good now but hopefully there wont be any long term issues caused by this ( circuit corrosion ).
posted as an fyi for those who might encounter the same weird problems i did.

The 2012 MB coupe is a really good looking car. ................The Iridium Silver coupe in my garage has but four cylinders.
