Is this forum dead?
The Lexus SC430 forum was active for a year before it arrived.
Still, I'm a new owner as of Monday in the DFW area.
Brilliant blue with MB-Tex Saddle and linden wood trim.
Looking forward to being an active member here.

My thoughts on the wood trim:
- The gloss black is sporty, and the linden wood (also glossy) adds a more of a luxury look.
- The two blacks have aluminum panels around the door speakers instead of matching trim.
- The ash trims are flat instead of glossy.
- We thought the black ash looked like it could have been made of plastic (not implying that it is) -- just not the look we wanted.
There are quite a few UK dealers getting C43 coupe demos into stock now, we will hopefully get to see one with the Saddle Brown before our build gets locked, but I'm pretty sure we've made the right choice.
Here's it's just kind of

Well, they seem to be more expensive, especially the leases. If Benz wants to move them they'll have to make leasing comparable to BMW - I just ran some rough numbers and with Porsche's summer lease deal I could get a 911 for less than a C63S!
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Time and priorities permitting, I intend to post a couple of topics.
One I always liked from the SC430 forum was "Surprising things you learned about the SC long after buying it".
So I intend to keep this forum alive, as best my non-modder self can.

I opted for the Cranberry Red interior. It's gorgeous!

More Tesla's than you could shake a stick at though, both S and X models.

Nevertheless, it's a gorgeous car - especially with the multispokes!

I ordered my C300 coupe when it was really new...like just came into the States. I was able to get 10% off MSRP with a MF=0.00121 and a 60% residual. Furthermore, at the time of lease singing, MB Financial accepted 10 Money Security Deposits (MSD) that reduced the MF down to 0.00051...an APR change of 2.9% to 1.2%, giving me an almost $3000 saving on my monthly payments over the 36 months of the lease. Oh yeah, if you don't know about MSDs, the money you give them at signing is fully returned to you when the lease it up. Quite a win-win situation.
