keyless entry door handle?
Hello, all I am new to MB World and new to MB's. I recently purchased a C300 and I am missing a few things that would make the car perfect for my wife.
First, I have the a push button engine start but no door handles for keyless unlock. Thus my wife needs to dig through her purse and find her key to unlock the car and then lose her key in her purse again to start the car.
I want to DIY install a keyless door handle. Based on my research here I think the system is called keyless go and I found a detailed tutorial on an install. I noticed the door handle is a self contained unit. My question is: Is the door handle plug and play install since I already have sensors in the car for the push start or is it more complicated?
Second is heated seats. We purchased the car pre-owned so we got what we got. She wants heated seats, is there any reasonable solution to this issue?

It's very different. On a keyless go car the handles have sensors on the actual handles themselves. Keyless start is only for the radio sensor inside the vehicle to turn on the car.

Heated Seats should be an easy solve. Ask your local dealer for suggestions on where to get this done at, and call around to your local leather auto upholstery shops. They normally do them for just a couple hundred bucks.
