New coupe, some observations
First off, the car is just what I wanted (luxury and reasonable performance - peppy and holds the road fairly well) and I am very, very happy with it.
Can't say enough about how attractive this car is, inside and out. Got vinyl seats (didn't want to be paying $1500 extra on the lease) and glad I did. They are very comfortable, will not stain (need a lot of sun block in SoFL) - easy to clean - no worries, haven't caused any extra sweating.
Haven't found the Eco drive too annoying and can get used to it...especially as the car can get great mileage in local urban driving. When using Eco, I've been getting around 25+ mpg.
Compared to my 2013 ATS Lux 2.0T which I consider to be my better BMW clone as it does handle better than the 328, the C300 doesn't corner as well. On cornering, the ATS is absolutely flat with no roll, the C300 does take curves nicely, but with a slight roll...certainly not as flat as the ATS.
Putting the C300 into Sport mode was a very pleasant and uplifting surprise. The car just felt tighter and I really felt the gears pull with nicely increasing acceleration. Although the ATS and C300 are rated the same HP, by-the-seat-of-my-pants, I definitely found the C300 to be more exhilarating.
Compared to the 4 series I enjoy the MB Coupé much more, the 4 series M-Sport finds a lot of traction, but rolls like a bathtub in corners.
Oh, and that sportexhaust...it's just a 4 cylinder, but it's addictive!
I just gotta wear out those runflats and get some real tyres on,another incentive to drive "dynamically".

In my post I forgot to mention that compared to the ATS, the C300 coupe has captured a reasonable exhaust sound...for a turbo.
As for the tires. Yeah, you are right about getting non-RFT. However, may I suggest a reduction in tire pressure to 36psi all around. Car still drives well and is less jittery.

Run flats are a giant PITA and I would sooner switch them out than dramatically shift the pressures around. I know they are supposed to behave a certain way in the event of a flat, but that doesn't mean they'll behave that way after extended, repeated high heat cycles..... I hate those damn things.
The better solution is the tire inside a tire....
....
I will however be quite aggressive on them...
Love taking the car out on summerevenings atm, the car begs to be driven... :-)
Don't have the car yet....
Apologies!
I plan to run the fuel door pressure in the C63 coupe, as well.
I'm hoping no run flats....

The C300's AMG Sport Package Wheels have fewer spokes obviously which is a good thing, It's not a GM Product with an the old logo Caddy Crest, and it just portrays a far more Luxurious Vibe.
Since the even older 350Z is really no comparison to either CTS or the C300 ~ albeit Sporty and Fun as it was, just throwing it in here for giggles ~ at least the Z didn't even bother with the Useless Rear Seats
