To get the Artico Dash or not...
Hi guys,
I'm brand new here and keen to get involved.
I've ordered a C300 Amg Line Coupe in Diamond White with the Porcelain seats, dark wood trim and the night package. I'm toying with the idea of adding the Artico leather dash too instead of the plastic. The problem with that is that it may push the delivery back another month (from March to April) and obviously it costs another £400. I'm doing this all on PCP for what it's worth.
My question to you is whether or not you thinks that it's worth the extra month waiting and extra dosh to put the Artico dash on the order form or whether the plastic will cut it just fine?
Cheers

I have a similar setup, C300 Amg line, Procelain seats, dark wood and the artico leather dash. Regarding the dash, I don't think you can ask anyone else tbh?
How much does it hurt for you personally to wait a month?
I doubt the extra money is a pain?
For me, the interior was important, hence the seats and wood trim etc, so I wouldn't go without it.

That's the problem. I do like it, as I say, but I'm already having to wait an extra two months just to get the proper night package alloys on it. That said, I do get your point. I'm gonna have this car for a minimum or 3 years, so what's another month to get the version I want? Maybe I'll go with it.
It's not that the money is a pain, it's more the question of if the Artico is that much better than the plastic dash. Near me, at least, all of the flippin' tester cars have the leather dash.

Well, I wouldn't have risked thinking "I should have bought..." once you get the car, get the stuff you want. A few weeks is nothing compared to peace of mind, my 5 cents.

Artico leather dash all the way mate! Have you seen the car without the artico dash? To me, the regular plain plastic/rubber dash looks incomplete. The stitching along the leading edge of the artico leather dash looks so so much better and gives a much more classy interior.

And that's the point I've taken. I've gone for it!
No, I haven't seen the standard dash in the flesh (or not?) but it didn't look too bad on the configurator. That said, I think the Artico looks nicer.

Have a look on autotrader - the photos of real cars give a much better representation vs the graphics on the config tool.
