Options in a C Coupe
I understand there are 2 screen sizes. The one with the NAV is probably the bigger screen, right?
My friend who works there checked the inventory in Toronto. There are about 12'2017 C Coupes left and most of them have black interior and 2 with cranberry red interior. Their exterior colours are mostly black and white. No idea why the dealerships pre-ordered only cars with basic colours.
The only way to get Selenite Grey and Saddle Brown is to order 2018.
Not sure if the bundled packages (premium, premium plus...)for 2018 are the same for 2017.

It took me all of 2 minutes to find the following info from the Mercedes Canada website:
1. There are a total of 135 2017 C300 Coupes in stock in all of Canada
2. 35 are in the GTA area or surrounding.
3. 10 in all of Canada are in Selenite Grey color (3 in the GTA). However, none of these have the saddle brown interior.
4. There are 3 Selenite grey 2018 C300 Coupes showing in stock. only ONE has saddle brown interior. This vehicle is in Ottawa!
There is nothing stopping you from calling that Ottawa showroom to get more info about this 1 vehicle that is showing in stock:
What i'm implying is that, maybe you should stop relying on information from us. Some of this info from us could be speculation or could be incorrect e.g. my point about the Burmester system having no tweeters was apparently incorrect.
Call this showroom, spend time talking to them and if you like the info and the price, go and get the car! I'm sure they will be happy to send you photos of the vehicle if you asked. This 2018 will have a 9 speed gearbox which is better than the 7 speed we got in the 2017. Yes the packages might be slightly different, but since this vehicle is preconfigured, ask what's on it. they will happily email you a detailed spec-sheet or a window sticker.
I'd happily drive 4 hours to Ottawa rather than wait 6 months for custom config unless i was so particular that i wouldn't have it any other way.
Just my 2 cents.

I asked many questions here because I want to get real life experiences from actual C Coupe owners. A 30 minutes test drive will not tell much. for example, my friend hated his NAV on his E Class and he thought he would get used to it. He did not, even after 6 months, he still uses his iPhone GPS.
As for saddle Brown leather, I saw it for the 1st time yesterday. 95% of the cars in the showrooms have black aritco.

Besides the 9-speed, are they any more changes in 2018?
EASY-PACK Power Trunk Closer
Integrated Garage Door Opener
Hands-free Access
PARKTRONIC w / Active Parking Assist
Illuminated Door Sill Panels
Ambient Lighting
KEYLESS-GO
SiriusXM® Satellite Radio
you are right. The only thing I want here is Keyless Go. $3000 CAN is too expensive for one feature that I want.
BTW. I never tried Parktonic in a modern MB. How is it? I'm tired it in another a few years ago and it was painfully slow.
Also, how is the Burmester ($1K CAN) as compared to stock? Is stock bad?
The Burmester is a MUST-HAVE in my opinion. I was sold the C300 with the info - "You don't need it, the stock is good enough". This is far from true, the burmester in my C43 is much much more loud and clear. If you like to play music loud when you're cruising, this will be critical. I can cruise at 140KM/H on the highway with the top down and my audio drowns out all the road noise.

As for the Burmester, this is a good example that one should never listen to a salesman. They are car salesman afterall. LOL.
Does the NAV get the traffic information from Sirius? My Garmin is a standalone unit which reports traffic information but in Canada, the traffic information is available only on highways and major roads.
There is a thread in the C Sedan section about Parktronic. In general they liked the feature but they still watched it like hawk and had to ride the brake to slow down.
I still have to decide if sport suspension. Definitely not the 19-inch wheels to avoid the harsh ride.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

Having said that, the Command with the Sirius Traffic option is a must and I will be ponying up the $450 when version 17 of the NAV becomes available in January 2018.
I was in the dealership to buy parts and I talked to a salesman about the C Coupe. He told me that he could not tell a difference between regular and sport suspension.
He also told me that the only difference between 2017 and 2018 is the transmission. This is probably true.

I did not see Sport Suspension as a standalone option and not in any of the packages. Surprisingly, I did not see the airmatic neither. Under MBC Standard Equipment, I saw "677 Lower Comfort Suspension". MBC probably means MB Canada.
There is a new package called Surround Sound Pakcage which includes Burmester and SiriusXM. Don't know why there was no price listed for this package.
BTW. I am in Canada.

There is a black with cranberry red (leather) in the showroom. This one comes with premium package, premium plus and sport package. It also comes with 19- inch wheels that I don't want because the ride will be stiff. This one is 2017 so if not sold in the next few weeks, there will be big discount.
I saw a white c Cab with Saddle Brown interior. It was gorgeous and I would gladly pay $2k for the leather.
I actually like the silver as well but I have been driving a silver CLK for 13 years!
