Apple CarPlay MB C-Class Coupe (W/C205)
Hi guys,
I know there is several threads about this but I haven't found one with info just for C-Class (W/C205).
Lates info I have is that in Sweden we can order C-Class (even GLC) with Apple CarPlay, but only with the small display (not Comand Online). Delivery of those is late 2017.
I bought my C-Class Coupe 2017 with Comand Online just to get the bigger display. Does anyone know if MB will release update for Comand Online so those who have it can get Apple CarPlay?

currently CarPlay and android auto is only possible at W205 C-class with Audio20 head unit + SA154 datacard code

well, I doubt this is possible with COMAND Online = SA531 at C-Class w205, as this is the same head unit HU5s2 and no CarPlay possible at that unit currently, only at Audio20 SA154

My ‘18 C300 cabrio was produced 10/18. I was a bit hesitant to move on it without the Comand option. It’s like having a personal assistant on board. I receive texts and dictate return texts while driving; I mention any music I want to hear and it calls it up and plays instantly (I subscribe to Apple Music); I State a specific destination I’m wanting, and it appears in a nano second. I’m given a choice of driving strategies with a breakdown of time differences throughout the drive...dependent on traffic. Siri on steroids! Not sure I’d do another vehicle without the option of Apple CarPlay.
