Thumbs down C300 Cabrio fit and finish shortcomings

See attached photos of 2017 and 2018 C300 Cabrio. It lacks finishing panels or trim panels in soft top storage area.
Definitely not up to par with any other convertible Mercedes produces.

What's the issue you're having, the exposed panels? Those places you're showing in the photos are not normally seen, so putting finish paneling on them seems pretty silly as it just adds weight and cost for no reason.

Tell that to client who buys this vehicle with a biege headliner and it gets stained from exposed speaker magnets and wiring that lay directly onto material when stowed away.

Also please refresh my memory on any other convertible that he's been produced by Mercedes Benz, that did not have finishing panels installed. Entry level C class convertible or not.

We haven't had to work on any of them for issues with the top yet, but I can't imagine they will allow the harness to contact the top and discolor it.

I don't know, I don't pay much attention to the inside of the convertible top storage areas. I just repair what's wrong and make sure the car looks complete with the top up and down. In transition, there's not much you can do about it.

The 207 Cab makes terrible noise when actuating the top, but they are all like that. We get complaints, and adjusting can make them a little better, but it's the nature of the beast. Convertibles are noisy and not as solid as coupes, price you pay to have a vehicle with no roof.

Sorry to hijack but not many threads on this. Anyone know how to get the PN for the top or where to source it? I'm after the interior part of it only if that makes sense.
The plastic on the inside is damaged somehow, I could see some fraying rope/cable.
