2018 C43 Cabriolet
I and others have complained about the lack of interest in this forum in the past . I guess the number of non-AMG coupe owners is relatively small as a percentage of all 205 owners . I , as an AMG cabriolet owner straddle both forums . At least the administration should add cabriolets to the title of this one as its essentially the same basic car as the coupe minus a roof !

Agree with splunge. I drop in about once a month to see if anything interesting has been posted. Typically it's the sponsors with the most threads, otherwise it's seems mostly dead.

I follow both c205 and w205. They’re essentially the same in terms of engines, functions, faults, etc!

This used to be a super fun forum, but it has declined in the last few years.......

Some posters have been exceptional and go above and beyond helping another.
I find it disappointing when you see a new thread that has had something like 50 views and yet no one has helped the OP. With my very small and limited knowledge I try and help the best I can, I wish I knew more so I could help others out there.
I have beautiful car, as we all do. Thats a reason to be happy. If your not than those posters shouldnt come to the forum.

Agree this forum is quiet but I love how uncommon my coupe is compared to the sedan. They look so different from the sedan, I see probably 20 sedans around me for every coupe I see. It’s also possible people just love the car and don’t have many issues,

When I drive, I never take anyone in the backseat, either a girlfriend and thats it in the front.
I actually wish my coupe was strictly just a two seater car to be honest.

I wonder of how many of those that have sedans actually need to use all 4 seats in them or need to use it more than once a week?

I'm with you. It's hardly ever more than 2 people in the car with me. I think maybe they buy the 4 door "in case" they need to use the backseat. My coupe's backseat will probably never be used except for my purse. The coupe is just so much more sporty looking. It's definitely a niche market. I don't see very many C coupes in the Thats what caught my eye initially. Sleek car and hardly see any. I see a zillion 4 door C class on the road.
Agree I do like the exclusivity of not seeing many if any of the mercedes coupes on the road.

Good morning, I have a coupe c300 with the sports exhaust system, and I wanted to ask you if the car makes these sounds:1. when opening the car with the remote control, a beep sounds of the sports exhaust system servomotor (black box) that is screwed into the exhaust itself, which regulates the opening-closing of the valve when you select the sport + mode. I pass you video:
2. blowing sound that is heard in the engine area just when the engine stops and lasts long enough to stop listening (always after rolling with the car strong). I think the noise is located, right on the right side of the engine, can it be one of those two electrovalves?:
does this sounds happen to you? I read in other post in this forum:"Loud Noise when the car is off w205 c300", and someone with another c300 has happened, but he does not say if he fixed itYou already tell me and thank you very much.Best regards.

This forum is so dead and it really sucks. When I had my first Mercedes back in 2007 this forum was the place to be for Mercedes owners. I was so disappointed when I signed up this go round.

I do agree with you, wish there was more discussion, unfortunately all we get is one or two heroes who just want to brag about their 0-60 times.
