C205 Seat Belt Pretensioner (Initial Tug)
Hi all,
The initial seat belt tug/tightening when you first put on the seat belt and start the car does not always work. I would say it does the "tug" about 60% of the time.
Technically the manual says it only works when it senses there is slack in the seat belt, but I've removed the seat belt when it was very loose and reconnected and it still doesn't tug.
I've also driven many other loaners (same model year) and the tug works 100% of the time.
Does anyone have thoughts/experiences with this?

Still no resolution
Does anyone have any ideas about this at all? The dealer says there are no error codes and they already replaced the seatbelt assembly. It is now only working about 20% of the time and I’m worried this is a safety issue since it won’t tug during an accident!
