Use the OEM tool to pull it off (seen them on ebay and other places - the ones
found at local parts stores just don't work as well - my experience only). If you can't locate, I can dig through past e-mails etc. to find it. The PS pulley is a pain to pull off, yet that's all I had a friend do to mine. He was used to doing this and it took him about an hour without the OEM tool.

Yeh, my friend had the same problem with his SLK320 pulleys. i just took mine to an independent local german mechanic who runs a shop called Autobahn here in town and told him just to do it like he was replacing OEM pulleys and he had no problem. getting the right pulley puller really is the key to getting it off, you could do what i did and ask a german car specialist or even ask a dealer. Once you get the right tool you should have to problem.

If this isn't the tool, this guy has it. Fairly cheap and will work. I've ordered
from them and the tools are of excellent quality.

Tool

Or do an ebay search for mercedes pulley puller and his store should be listed.
