Define "losing power"
do u mean as in you have to put your hazard lights on and pull over, or you just dont think it is running as good as normal ?
also any check engine light?

I would check the Mass Air then I would check the O2 sensor(s).When was the last time the fuel filter was changed ?

I agree too. That sounds exactly right...in that order too.

I don t know when the fuel filter was changed but I will go ahead and change that. air mass and O2s must cost a lot. how do I check if they are working properly without changing them? 95/c220/127,000 miles. thanks

Normally you will get the dreaded "CEL - Check Engine Light" when the Mass Air Flow sensor goes followed by very poor performance. The O2 sensor clues will be decreasing gas mileage and performance ( duh! ).I would change out the fuel filter 1st , then go to your local Pep Boys,AutoZone etc. and pick-up
a bottle of RedLine ( my preference ) Fuel System Treatment and add that to your gas tank.If its the fuel filter - you'll know right away , the fuel treatment may take some mileage to restore the performance. If its still running the same with no "CEL" I would take it in and have someone take a look.Let us know how you make out. Good Luck !
