My son's '97 C230 with 99K has just had both the Mercedes Radio/cassette and the Mercedes trunk 10 CD changer quit within a month of each other.

Any advice on replacing them with a good cosmetic unit that has the above features?

I bought a nice Alpine cd/mp3 player, and had Circuit City install it. And it works fine.

I have a Blaupunkt Monterrey deck. Plugs right in to the factory harness and has MP3 capability and an AUX port. Works great for me.
