Exclamation !!! need help !!!

I need some help, i have 99 c230 kompressor, seems like the battery died, no electrical at all, no lights, power locks, etc..

I tried to open the trunk to boost the battery, but for some strange reason the mechanical key will not go in all the way, it only goes in 3/4 of the way, my back seats don't fold down. Mechanical key opens the drivers door no problem. I got my hands on an emergency starter which charges the battery through the cigarette lighter but nothing, when i have it plugged in a red SRS light turns on on the cluster and stays on while the charger is plugged in.

wtf is going on, anybody have any suggestions

Hi,
check under the bonnet/hood and see if the is a heavy duty +connector, which can be used for jump starting the car. I am not familiar with your model, but many Mercs have one on either of the inner front wing valance areas. Check the owners manual.
Regards,
Articar.

This happened to me when I left my car parked for along time. There is a place under the bonet where you can hook up a + jumper cable to. You'll just have to ground the - anywhere you can. Mines on the right side, under a plastic panel/cover. If you cant find it, take of pic of your bay and i'll show you.

thanks, a friend of mine showed me the samething, i got the trunk open by plugging a battery charger to it so it can give me power to pop the trunk with the switch on the center console by the shifter....i plugged the positive to the connection under that plastic bonnet located on the drivers side near the fender and grounded to the engine block and " bingo " problem fixed...now i know
