Does anyone know what it takes to replace rear defrost?
Does the whole window get replaced? If so, has anyone gone through this
as I imagine it's big $$$.

Mine has breaks in the defroster element that doesn't look normal. I figure since
I'm about done with my motorcycle mods this year, I can go back to the Benz and fix a few things.

I would think the entire windshield has to be replaced. If there's breaks in the actual element you could try reparing it yourself. Here's a link...

Sure did!!!! Thanks for the link. I will repair it and see what happens. It's got to
be an improvement over what I have right now... Got to run.... US Mail bringing
a new gauge for my Sport bike.

Keep us updated, I want to know if this works. I was going to repair my RL rear defrost but sold it before I could try this.
