Looks like many people is interested in this item, I was wondering why there is no authorized distributor in US, US has the most W202 than any country in the world.

Yeah, i don't know why we don't get many products here in the US...I remember reading some japanese and chinese magazines, and they have more aftermarket products than we do for MB's! In japan, they even make a flip out key alarm for those of us who don't have them (my 94 has the plain key...which is ok because I had a remote start installed w/o any problems).

Anyway, here's the thread on these foglights from benzsport...there's definitely people there interested in this.

Ok, maybe 200 for foglights for my W202 would be a bit cheaper.

I wanted foglights and searched for 2 years, instead I ended buying a OEM c43 kit.

how much do the piaa 1400s cost, and will a benz dealership install them?

and also, how much for some of their bulbs for my driving lights?

Brian: You do have foglights...just pull on the headlight control knob and voila.

if you mean foglights in the bumper, then the that's a different story...the PIAA's are usually around $150..you can install it yourself..i wouldn't bother going to the dealer..they're not that hard to install.

As for driving lights, they are about $15-$500..depends on what you want. $15 are the cheapo HID wannabe lights....Name brand HID wannabe lights cost about $60 (for Piaa's or Razo's)...You can get HID kits from $375-$500..depending on brand.

Check out www.groupbuycenter.com for some good prices on these items.

BTW, I will be Taiwan for 5 days at the end of October..and word on these foglights? I can bring them back..

Customs: Umm..anything to declare? Like the 5 sets of foglights in your luggage?
Me: Uh...they're all for my car...i just want to make sure i have back-ups in case they get stolen..

lol ya customs is normally a *****, i appreciate your help, but ya im kinda looking for the cheapest route possible, but i dont want to sacrifice cost for dependability, im 16 years old and im starting job, which pays pretty well, and i want to do some stuff to my car so its not the same as it was when it was first bought if you know what i mean... ill take some pics of it when i get some time, its in really great condition :p

so what would you recommend?

I would like to use stock fog lights wire sets connect to the headlight assembly for the aftermarket ones. by extending the stock fog lights wire to the aftermarket fog lights, it will save a lot of time to re-wire and aviod installing a separate switch on dash board. This wiring method will use the current fuse/electric system, and also using the same stock rotary dial fog lights switch to control the aftermarket ones. Is it possible?

Will the aftermarket light in the opening block the air flow through the opening to the front disc brakes and effect the stoping power?

Lastly, how to installation done for the aftermarket lights? anyone has a pair aftermarket install before or currently?
