Stereo Amp

1995 C280
I believe I have a bad amp. I like to replace it with another one doesn't have to be another stock. Can I get a wiring harness adapter from anywhere so I can use another amp. Or does anyone know the wiring order?
Any help would be appreciated.

I would reomend stinger, to get a adapter. I use one now, to retain the factory mids/highs on my modified stereo system. I think its www.stinger.com
they do all the highend speaker stuff, hope this helps!

Thank you all for replying but I guess I wasn't clear on my posting. I like to replace my amp no the head unit. I'm fine with the original head unit as I like to keep the original look. My bose amplifier is gone dead and it is too expensive to have it fixed so I was thinking about just going with an after market amp. It is a 5 chan amp so 2 front 2 back and 1 woofer so I should be able to consulidate it in to a 4 chan amp. The plug on the amp has 24 connectors and I was wondering if anyone knows the wiring diagram/order or if they make an adapter for it.

No problem, just throwing some info out there. Try calling around to some salvage shops with wrecked benzs.. im sure no one decided to take the factory amp out with they did it. J and B auto in Orlando Florida is good, and have good locators to! =)

Damon

PS some times the wiring is different from my car to your car.. my buddy has the SAME exact car as me, sport and all..... and when we wired our radios... we were wondering why the wires werent in the exact same order. His was brown, mine was purple.. also, try looking on yahoo for Mercedes C Wiring some times you can find diagrams! =)
