Head Unit change official
I've been reading everywhere that it is impossible to change the head unit because of the Fiber Optic wiring system; however, that is NOT the case in all models. I have a 2000 C230K and the only fibre optic components attached to the head unit are the integrated phone (which I do not have) and the CD changer (which I do not need because of my Ipod). Just wanted to give everyone the heads up incase you are stuck with the same issue...also, I took it to a Tweeter Centerin Reading, PA and they are suprisingly professional there without being over-priced. Good luck to you.

I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to come off as a dick. I really meant thanks for making the effort to post useful info. I was just simply trying to inform you that the topic has been covered a million times. I apologize. Internet doesn't allow for body language or tone of voice.
