Options are very important. You should definitely get a car that has CD, Sport, and 2000.

If I were looking for one, I'd get this one hands down.
Wow, I even want this one even though I already have one.

Opinions vary here. I say you're better off putting in a $100-$200 MP3 or ipod capable HU (very easy in the W202 because it has a standard DIN opening) and ignoring the CD changer. YMMV.

i've lost count
an e36 is easier (more intuitive) to work on yourself; and a w202 really isn't sporty.
i like our w202 better than i would having an e36- but it's not the "sporty" car in the garage. i've got some e46's for that

and somewhat sporty does not equal a sports car.
we have a w202 c280 sport... and sure, its nicer than having a ford taurus or something... but it has nothing on a properly modded lightweight, manual shifting, 2 door, high-reving, sports car.
not that i dont love our c280... it's just not a sports car.
...but i WOULD rather have that than most e36's.

lots of cars
Because they don't give you the problems you'll get with a c280. It's a 4cyl engine that is easy to work on. You won't get blown head gaskets or bad engine harnesses. It's not perfect but mine runs great.

I've had my '99 C230K for 6 years, and I've had a wonderful time taking it from 60K miles to 140K.
Only issues I've ever had were with the front suspension bushings and the mass air flow sensor - both of which I've had to replace multiple times. No tranny or engine problems tho. So nice!
