Q's about Rims on 98' C230
Hey guys, this is my first post and I have a few questions. My Girlfriend has a 98' C230 that needs new rims. I have some really nice rims sitting in my garage that I want to throw on it. They are 17" Alloy Technologies but they are so old that I cant remember or find the name or any info on them. The reason that I no longer have them on my 300E is because with brand new brake pads the rims were just scraping the caliper by a hair. My question is this: First, Do you think that the bolt pattern is the same for the 300E's and the C230's and will it fit on her hub? Second would the calipers be smaller and clear the rim? (I might just have to use trial and error here). Also what is the stock rim size, offset, and bolt pattern for the stock C230 just in case I need to look to buy some new ones? These rims, along with many other aftermarket ones, used studs and not the normal mercedes bolts. Is this safe and does anyone else use studs instead of OEM bolts on thier cars? Here are some pictures of the rims just in case someone can ID them for me.
Thanks so much,

you will def NOt have a problem with the bolt pattern, the problem MAY lie in the offset.
find out it should be written inside the wheel itself.
