Hey, Noticing some splits in the paint and a tiny rust bubble on the trunk lid. Does Mercedes offer warranty fixes for a 2000?

Paint Warranty

I had this problem on my 2000 MB. I took it to a dealer and the first thing the bodyshop manager did was to take a paint guage out. If it reads > 90 microns they will say its been in a scrape and has been resprayed no deal!
