Help: Weird short-circuit issue

I just came back from the dealer that diagnosed my '98 C280 as having some sort of short-circuit in the sunroof command module.

What really happens is that some times the sunroof and power seats just refuse to work. A few minutes later, bam, they are back, fully operational.

I was there when the car passed that computer diagnostics test. When the problem is not present not a single electronic item is marked as having an error. When the "thing" happens, the same diagnostics test point out a gazillion of electronics in short-circtuit or with tension over/under the desired levels.

Did anyone experience something similar or, maybe, got the part # of that sunroof command module he says is causing the problem?

Thx a bunch!

Nope, I haven't figured it out yet.

And I am surely not paying for a new command module any time soon.
