reliability of 1995 C280

I have a 1995 C280 with 102000 miles on it. I dont drive it hard, and I only floor the accelerator maybe once a month. How many miles can i expect my engine to last? I have always properly serviced it, and never driven over 70 mph.

sure, what are the common failures? Right now my winshield wiper motor is stuck, and my head gaskets are leaking. My lower control arms are worn out, and thats about it. Anything else i should look for?

try hitting the wiper motor w/ a hammer while its on, it should free up. as for headgasket... thats a common issue. leaks oil out the back. and control arm bushings are a common failure too. the A/C control unit likes to fail often too. other than those expensive issues theres really nothingi else to worry about. all those twin cam 6s leak, the M104 is notorious for that.

your car being a 95 its also a good canidate for needing a engine harness along w/ a throttle actuator.

I have a coworker who has a 1995 C280 with 155k miles, he says its been running fine with very minor quirks. No major repairs to keep his car running, just oil and gasoline in the tank.
