Car didn't start
I'm in CA, so I don't get much rain, but yesterday, it rained. I took the car out twice, left it parked in the rain each time. Started right up every time. Got home, had the car in the garage for an hour. Then needed to leave again, but the car did not start. It turned over, lights work, radio works, but it just did not kick in. Tried a few times, no luck. This morning, tried again, and it started right up! Any ideas about what happened? Thanks.

No.......no more than $200.00...and that's being GENEROUS.If you have any mechanical ability it should take no more than a 1/2 hour with a cold engine.

That price is probably about average for the job from an MB dealer.
Almost as "good" as the $600+ for a MAF replacement from a dealer
You can buy the insert only for $140 shipped or the full unit for $295 and if it takes you more than 10 minutes you need to go back to "Remedial Use Of Tools 101" class.
