Passenger Window off track

Passenger Window off track
My driver side passenger window won't power up or down- when I hit the switch I can hear the motor run, but the window doesn't move. I figure either the window is off track (unlikely, because I can still manually move it up and down smoothly) or the actual window cable has broken. How easy is it to take off the panel and inspect it? Do I have a chance at fixing it myself or am I better off taking it to a mechanic?
Either way I'm in trouble, but it's almost summer and I need to make this work!

Door madness help
What an annoying job but you can do it and probably will have to get into the interior to fix that whether you have someone do it (which will cost $$$)
or do it yourself. Your most likely going to want to replace some of the door panel clips among other parts. Check out this link and see if it helps.
