and about the sport pack issue, you probably right cos back in the day, the sport appeal was not MB's main interest, but these days its every car manufacturers selling point

Yeah I still have mad love for the w202. Every time I see one, I see mine, it makes me sad sometimes. There's a lot of elegence in a Benz that other manufacturers just can't touch. Don't get me wrong, though, I wouldn't trade my A4 for one again.

I'm digging both the W202 and W204 :P
I have a 2000 W202 C240, and I couldn't ask for more right now. All I need now is to find some 18's to replace my stock 16's lol... I'm loving your C240, doko! It's mint!
If only I could get a C43 kit... But it's so hard, cuz I'm down in NZ, in the middle of no where. Shipping's damn expensive lol...
But if I had the money, I'd be eagerly awaiting the arrival of the C63 AMG!
I really like the Avantgarde grille on the W204's. Looks so damn awesome.

I do believe so. The C 240 is weaksauce though. I remember the look on the guy's face at the next light after I smoked his *** (him in a w203) in my '95 C 280. The car looked new and I bet he was on his way back to the dealer to ask why an 8 yr. old (at that time) C-Class just handed him his ***.

@Wadster: Now that you mention it, yeah, I think mine has the 2.6L V6 that went into the W203 C240's. This would explain why mine is more responsive and faster than my brother's 1998 C240, which probably has the older V6 2.4L.
@Davis449: You're right too. I had a '94 C280 before I traded it in for my current C240, and I can definitely feel the power difference between a straight-6 2.8L compared to my current V6 2.4L/2.6L. The ol' C280 had more grunt under the hood.
Haha yeah man, I'm thinking of either shifting off to the US or Oz after I finish uni here lol. There's a way bigger market in the US for car parts (actually, everything for that matter lol) and cars...

thanks dude.i try to keep the spirit alive in south africa, but its expensive cos the accessories aint available. not too many people that wanna trick out a benz here....especially the older ones
